Apparently it's a problem that my room manages to stay warmer than the rest of the house.
My dad's mad about it, and wants to close my vent because he thinks it will help warm the rest of the house.
For some reason he thinks that because my room is warmer, that must be why the rest of the house isn't. But that doesn't make any sense!
My room is only warmer because 1) it's smaller, and 2) I keep the door mostly closed.
If he shuts my vent, my room will then be colder than the rest of the house, because it's farther away from the heating/AC unit than the other rooms. D:
Just like how my room is warmer than the rest of the house during the summer, for the same reason.
And closing my vent isn't going to make the rest of the house warmer.
In fact, if he opened the rest of the vents in the house a little wider, like we did with mine, then MAYBE the rest of the house would warm up, too. Just a thought. XD
Oh well, if he closes my vent. I'll just open it again. >_>
Not like it's hard.
