So I dressed like a wolf today. And went to school.
My friends were doing a project in Biology about the Taiga biome. They had to pick an endangered species, and they picked the gray wolf. The catch was that they had to do some sort of "outreach" to help their endangered species. So they dressed me like a wolf.
I had a piece of fake fur rolled up and made into a tail; the cat ears I bought at Tekkoshocon, a local anime convention; vampire fangs; and eyeliner on my nose. I have to admit that I looked more like a cat than a wolf, but they stuck a sign on my back that said "I'm a Gray Wolf! Save Me!" That, of course, only complicated matters, because "gray" looks an awful lot like "gay," and of course gay wolves would be dying out but that wasn't the point.
To make things even more interesting, it was during Senior Sell-Out week, when underclassmen can buy a senior (you heard me, there's an auction and everything) and make them do stuff. Like dress up as wolves. Everywhere I went people said "You aren't a senior!" I growled at them.
So I hope this teaches everyone a valuable lesson about doing silly things in public: it's fun as heck.
