Dear Journal,
Well, as the subject states, I've been on new adventures....
For the past few weeks I've been reading a manga called La Corda d'Oro--it's about a girl given a magic violin and being in a contest. Well, just a few days ago, there was an orchestra that cam into Barnes & Noble and played. I have always wanted to play the violin, and the manga... the orchestra... and just everything put together... I went and bought me a violin! whee I'm learning to play it as we speak. heart
Alright, each string on the violin as a name after it's note: E, A, D, and G. Well, I snapped one the other night. And guess which one it was? The G-string. Get it? As in a thong... G-string? xd I was telling one of the guys at work the other day, and I was like, "Yeah, my G-string broke." As soon as I said that I realized how bad it sounded. redface It was pretty funny though... sweatdrop
And just today I got a new job! As of May 5th I will no longer be working for Barnes & Noble--I will be working for SiTEL! heart You see, B&N cutting my hours, them giving that other guy the position I wanted, and gas prices in general, it really made up my mind: going from five days a week to three days really hurts. sad Anyway, May 5th starts my training and it will be for about six weeks from 4:00 pm - 12:30 am, Monday - Friday. cool After training, my hours will me 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Tuesday - Saturday! 4laugh
