'Kay, so... I think I finally figured out what I'm doing as far as college.
SCAD is out. For now. It's my dream school, but I just can't afford it,
no matter what I do.
Right now, I'm looking at Devry, ITT Tech, or the University of Phoenix (which to my surprise is NOT in Arizona...).
I've already talked with Devry, and am going to apply tomorrow.
I need to talk more with ITT, and to UoP too.
I'm learning more about this college stuff.
Apparently I can go in for my associate's degree, get a job, work for a while,
and when I want to, go back to school and finish my degree.
So, that's what I plan to do, wherever I go. =)
I'll start at one of the three schools I'm looking at now.
Get my associates degree. Get started on my career,
and later when I have money, I might give SCAD another go when I go back for my bachelor's.
I also learned that I can get tuition assistance from wherever I decide to work while I'm in college,
depending on where I end up working.
And now that I have this to go with, I'm not freaking out anymore. Yay. =D
This also means I don't have to consider the military.
I was getting to that point... and I wasn't liking it.
Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for the military.
There's just NO WAY I could do what they do. =o
