So... I changed my multimedia again. About time, actually. XD Basically, I found a version of Britney Spears' song, Toxic, that sounds pretty freaking amazing. It was sung by another artist, Yael Naim. I ran into her name on Yahoo News today. Apparently she's been made famous by an Apple Mac commercial, that used her song "New Soul". So, because I was curious, I looked her up. She's pretty good. =] And I just love her version of "Toxic". I always have kind of liked that song (despite not being all that fond of Britney). I think the only time I really got upset over that song, was when they put it on Kidz Bop. That was retarded. Not only did they KILL it, but that's not a song little kids should really be singing, you know? But, pretty much, I think Yael just beat Britney with her own song. Whoot. =o ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I was going to put lyrics here, but I'd rather get off and go to bed now. So... tomorrow maybe. In other news... holy crap, there's an owl outside my window. 	There are a lot of songs on Kidz Bop that kids shouldn't be singing ("This Love" blatantly references sex? All right, let's have tweenies sing it!" "Crazy" is about being insane? Okay!" "Evanescence, Green Day, Usher, Gorillaz, Fergie--they all can be included for good, wholesome family fun!" wink I hate them so. Then again...I hate Bratz, too, and they're doing the same thing of marketing inappropriate things/lifestyles to children...they both end in Z...I think there's a connection. Geez! Parents get so worked up over the most inane things NOT marketed towards children, so why don't they get worked up over this crap which actually IS marketed towards children? Oh, and the best version of Toxic I've heard was by a band called Local H, and the best version of Hit Me Baby was by Frank Zappa's sons. I have no idea why it sounds less skanky when it's sung by them...perhaps it's because they don't sound like they're sixteen years old.
