Okay this is the sequel to Sunlight Raye (which is posted here) and I just started it so it is going to be a while before it is posted but I thought I'd give some people a taste of it. It takes place about a year after the last story. Naro and Raye are about to get married but things go horribly wrong - as things often do with Raye. It starts with Naro lying to his parents about her and a visit from the ghost of Raye's mother which brings bad news. Darak has a brother who isn't too found of Raye considering she killed him. And he plans to the start the war all over again, this time joining his vampire army into the mix. Raye has to stop him before she can marry Naro. To give her extra insentive the Great Demonic Magi tell her that she has a brother who is out there, somewhere, alive. If things weren't bad enough Naro's psycho little sister and Raye's personal stalker are out to break them up and it turns out that Juto Hinaka is really her uncle and he lied to her about it. So once again she has to end the war, protect her secret and somehow come of it alive.
And here's in the intro I wrote for it: There once was a far away kingdom called Gaselu and in that kingdom there was a village called Shano, which was located between the Great Lenor Mountains and the Dark Sataru Forest. The history of Gaselu was a bloody one because for the last thousand years there had been a great war that had been fought between the humans and the demons. The Evil Demon King, Darak, and his second-in-command and lover, Hagnu, had oppressed the humans for centuries until they’d finally rebelled. They fought a brutal and noble war for their freedom even though they could never hope to win but still they fought. And a year before this tale they had finally won. The war was finally over after a thousand years of darkness and bloodshed. It was a young girl, who’d been the one to do what no man had done before her. She had killed Darak, she’d ended the war. Her name was Raye Tani and she had been just a simple girl, an orphan and a street thug from Shano, not some powerful General in the Rebel Army. She was in fact a demon not a human and a very good person, though few would believe it. And she was able to do what she did because she was the Legendary Ratené, the one who was prophesied to come and end the horrible war. She had fulfilled her destiny, accomplished her dream, made many strange friends and had fallen in love. She’d done it to save her friend and managed to save herself in the process. She did it because this girl had a history with Darak. They first met when she was an eight year old little girl with only the power of telepathy at her disposal. Darak came to Shano and whipped out the Great Tani Clan, Raye’s Clan. Her parents had died long before that, although she later learned her father wasn’t as dead as she’d been told. But on that day she’d lost her entire family for she was the one and only survivor of the Tani Massacre. But Darak hadn’t gotten away scot-free either, she’d used her power against him and retained not only his image but all of his memories as well. But it’d been too much for her to handle as a child so the Great Demonic Magi whipped it all from her mind. The two met once more while she was serving in the war under the name Kuto Manto. The spell the Magi had put on her came undone and the memories returned when Darak jumped back inside her mind and told her that he loved her. He continued to torture her and kidnapped her friend and his brother. When she and her team came to rescue them they ran into Darak. Once they began to fight he entered her mind for a third time in her life and told her that the humans weren’t the ones who’d started the war but that it was him. He’d done it to draw her out because he had foreseen her in a vision of the future and saw how she would kill him and kill him is what she did. And that was how she’d ended to war. She killed him and Hagnu as well but before Hagnu died he’d granted her his and Darak’s powers. Overall it seemed perfect, everyone had their own happy endings. With her help General Juto Hinaka was soon elected the President of Gaselu. Her friends returned to their homes across Gaselu and her best friend had finally married his sweetheart and she was to be next. The humans were now ruling Gaselu and for once in such a long time there was peace in this chaotic country that had seen so much blood. The fighting was over, order had been restored. But as Raye knows better than anyone else: nothing lasts forever.
