Jakobo This month, Gaia donators will be eligible to win free mVox speakerphones! The "mv100" is a small, lightweight speakerphone that works right out of the box on most computers and can be used for audio chatting with popular instant messaging software. In a partnership with mVox, users who donate to Gaia Online will be automatically entered into a drawing to receive two free mVox m-100 USB speakerphones. This product is our gift to this month's donating users for their support of our site, and we will have more give-aways in the future. Users selected to receive the USB speakerphones who take the time to post their feedback in our forums will receive 5,000 gold! We will soon have an mVox Discussion Forum to talk about the m-100, AIM, iChat A/V, and more. Happy chatting! For information on how to donate, please visit the "http://www.gaiaonline.com/store/donate.php". Gaia Interactive, creator of Gaia Online, is proud to announce the sponsorship of mVox -- the innovator of true hands-free communication. Created in October of 2002, Gaia Online (hence Gaia) has sustained itself through the patronage of its donators, whose support has made possible the expansion of Gaia to it's position today as the largest forum on the Internet with over two million registered members. (1) mVox, established in 2004, is focused on hands-free communication products. Through innovation with Digital Signal Processing, they have created powerful hands-free solutions for computers, and traditional phones. mVox's sponsorship of Gaia Interactive / Gaia Online is an opportunity for Gaia to thank the patrons of the site who have contributed during the month of June. Donators who have contributed to the site are eligible to receive a pair of the mVox m-100 USB speakerphone-- one for themselves, and another to share with family or friends. Receivers of the speakerphones may then provide feedback on their experience with the m-100 and receive Gaia Gold. Originating from anime-styled artwork and a strong central community, Gaia Online has become one of the most popular social locations on the Internet. ### (1) Based on information from Big Boards ("http://www.gaiaonline.com/gaia/redirect.php?r=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.big-boards.com" wink Useful Links: Gaia Online: http://www.gaiaonline.com/ mVox: "http://www.mvox.com mVox m-100 Product Page: "http://www.mvox.com/mv100.html" Gaia Online Donation Page: "http://www.gaiaonline.com/store/donate.php"
Jakobo FAQs Do I have to include my mailing address when I donate? No, you don't, at least not immediately. Winners who are chosen, will be contacted via the admin account with information regarding how to submit your mailing address. If you have already provided a shipping address with your Paypal donation or mail-in donation, that information may be used if it is deemed a current and valid shipping address. So, do I get an item for this? All people who donate the $2.50 USD will receive a sealed envelope. This is no different from a standard doncation. In addition, selected winners will be eligible to win the mVox m-100 USB speakerphone. This is a real life item, provided by the good folks at mVox. Who will be shipping my product when I win? The products will be shipped directly to you from mVox. What about privacy? Your mailing information is safe with both Gaia Online and mVox. As per the Gaia Online Terms of Service (Privacy Policy Section), names and addresses may be collected at the user's consent for the delivery of goods and services. If you are one of the winners of the mVox m-100, you may decline to receive your prize. At that point, your information will not be forwarded to mVox, and another winner will be chosen. Quote: Users' Personal Information A user is required to enter a valid e-mail address to obtain membership, followed by two personal questions to enhance account security for password retrieval. Lanzer's work diary Lanzer After the forum migration it's been sleepless nights trying to get the new code working properly. There were memory leaks, script errors, and errors on the web server itself causing all sorts of slowdowns. Wasn't until an hour ago until all the major bugs were fixed. Finally all the web servers are running smoothly again! Now to continue fixing OTHER major bugs.
