Halloween features monster movie marathons, dressing as monsters, and trying to get scared. What would be better to celebrate this scary season with some fright at Six Flags. Today was officially the first day of the "Fright Fest" at all Six Flags parks. I go to Great Adventure, so I'll talk about the Fright Fest at the park.
There are hundreds of shows, but the best are Dead Man's Party where a group of ghouls sing famous rock, metal, and pop songs, Hypnosteria where a hypnotist makes a group of teens do funny things, and Circus Psyco Freak Show where the host and his assistants do strange and disgusting stunts like walking up ladders of swords or walking on broken glass.
It is very scary for every section has its own theme. For example, the Boardwalk which is a carnival theme section turns into a Evil Circus filled with scary clowns(i hate clowns so I get REALLY scared eek ), the path near the lake becomes a cemetary, and the Wild West becomes "Bone Butcher Terror-tory" for its show. I like the terror trails because one of them is where you have to wait in line and walk through the woods on a path with only six people at a time. Also, there is a Hayride wich is rather corny than scary, but still fun because its just something you do.
The best part of the Fright Fest in October is that the park is empty. One time I got on Kingda Ka in less than five minutes. So if you ever want to get scared and go on alot of roller coasters, go to the Fright Fest at the Six Flags near you!
