I was afraid this would happen... >_>
I ended up joining this pumpkin carving contest... or more like I and the rest of Senior Art was forced into it by the art teacher. I was hoping my carving design would be chosen, but at the same time not... because I dont' know how to carve a pumpkin. D:
Sure enough... they liked my design. I (along with about 4 or 5 of the other art students) get to carve a pumkin this weekend, and it's going to be displayed in the Richmond Hill Reflections magazine's October issue. Whoot.
This should be interesting.
I seriously didn't want to be chosen in this contest... but what the heck. I'm told it will look good on a college application, and hopefully help get me where I want to go as far as colleges (Either SCAD or FIDM... mainly SCAD).
Bescides, this probably isn't as intimidating as I'm making it out to be. I'm sure it will be fun. The hardest part will be getting the thing back to school on Monday. X_x

In other news, it's my mum's birthday today. Happy birthday mummy! =]
I'm kind of sad. I had a painting that I was working on in Art, that I intended to give her for her birthday... but sadly, it's not done yet. So it's gonna be a little late. Meh.
So on top of a pumpkin, I have a painting to work on some more.
