Yes, today was quite good. I woke up, did reading, a bit of drawing, a bit of playing the piano - I had a relaxed morning. Then, my mum took nell and tilly to Eureaka, a kids science museum.
I had a shower and then my dad and I went into town to....but some glasses. Yer, I know it isn't the most excting thing, but we had a test thingy done to find out what styles of glasses will suit us. I needed "A purple/maroon/brown rectangular frame, but not a very angular rectangle" if that makes sense.
We found some decent ones and in the end, it was really cheap (compared to other prices)! They have all the fancy lens coatings as standard and I'm entitled to all these different discounts because of my age. Actually, the glasses lady mistook me for an A level/Univertity student redface which I'm not. Also, why is it that young people are wanting to look older and more mature; and then when we get that old we'll be paranoid about our age and wish we were young again? Fickle people....
Amyways, after the glasses purchasing, my dad offered to take me for a drink in a cafe! That was a shame, because I didn't want to go to starbucks. Food is one of the easiest ways for my dad to be kind to be, as he's not very empathetic. Once we had a row, and to make up he bought me a cake stare He's a softie really, albeit one with a evil temper.
Instead we walked around towm, listened to buskers, bought me something from LUSH (!? my dad hates that shop, says he has trouble breathing....) and bought a pestle and morter from MUJI. I like the beds in there, must campaign for one....
At home I did some more homework then completed Pheonix Wright game! Woo! It has a nice happy ending. My mum and sisters came back from the museum with presents for me! Yay! I got an ammonite fossil (I like that sort of thing) and a bouncy ball with a parrot inside. The parrot is not real. I like my fossil and my bouncy ball, mainly because my mum got them for me. I'm too sentimental sweatdrop
On that note I'm going to sleep because it's late and I'm tired =.=
