Nuriko walked out o the academy. She had been helping the kids with their weopon attacks. Nuriko was awsome at weopons. Everyone knew it. She walked past Ichiruka (sp) ramen and saw Naruto. He waved and beckoned her over to sit. She also loved ramen. ALmost as much as naruto. She smiled and sat down beside him. Naruto smiled "il get you a bowl, if your hungry." he offered. The man behind the counter smiled at Naruto "Paying for your girlfriend, aye Naruto?" he said. Naruto looked at him "Girlfriend?". Nuriko went red. "N...no! We arn't liek that" she stammerd. Nuriko looked at Naruto "N...no thanks. Im not hungry." she said then put her hands in her lap. Naruto looked at her strangly then looekd back at the man. He sighed and slurped hte rest of hir ramen down quickly. He got up from his chair and pulled Nuriko off hers "Come on." he said with a grin and pulled her away.
Nurko brushed the hair out of her eyes "Where are we going?" she asked. "Training. Kakashi sensei told us to. We are leaving somewhere. I don't reember." he said and ran to the trainging grounds with the logs, still holding onto Nuriko's hand. They stopped when they reached the grounds and Nuriko dropped his hand. SHe looekd at him confused "You start" she said simply and climbed up ojne of the logs. "Try and knock me down.l" she said and looked at him with a smirk on her face "After I fall, fight me. Simple right?" she teased him. She took out some senbon needles "But try to dodge these poisened ones, as you do it" she smiled and threw a senbon. He dodged it but barely "Oh come on! You throw weopons faster than Haku can run." he said with a wrorried voice "And if they are poised dip, your goign ot get some medics traing too." he tried again but she threw two more needles, one at him, and one to the side of him "I know. I run faster than Haku too" she smirked again and stood up on the log "Hwo hard coudl this be?" she said and threw a shuriken at him. "You said dodge the senbons. I have to dodge al lthe weopons now?" he said. Nuriko shook her head "Are you this stupid?" she teased him. Naruto didn't know what she meant. Nuriko hopped of the log "Naruto. You baka. Get on the log. Ill show you a technique." she said and crossed her arms. She handed him her pack of poised senbon. HE lcimbed up the log and sat on the top. Nuriko smiled "Throw a couple senbon then a shuriken like I did for you" she told him. Naruto threw a senbon right at her and she dodge it and did a roundhouse kick at the log. The log shook and naruto caught himself barely. He threw anotehr at her and two to the side. Nuriko jumped back "Try harder" she hissed. Nuriko slamemd her fist into the log once agian,m making it tremble. Naruto threw a shuriken and nuriko caught it between her fingers she threw the kuna iat him and Naruto jumped back, falling ot the ground "See? You fell off." she smirked. Naruto got up and sighed "I guess I am stupid" he said and laughed. Nuriko laughed too.
Nuriko smirked at him "You need to work harder, Naruto-kun" she cleched her fitst "I want to be better than all the Sannin combined. And after that, better than all hokage. So if I wish o make this happen, I have to give it all I got. You two Naruto. On this mission, we are goign ot have to out do ourselves. Alright?" she smield at Naruto. Naruto nodded "Hell yeah! I've got your back if you ever need me, ok?" Naruto said. Nuriko nodded "And I have yours
Nuriko heard a rustle in the bushes and spun around. A silver wold with icy blue eye stepped out with a scroll in its mouth "Luna!" Nuriko smiled and petting the wolf's head. Nuriko put her hand below its mouth and the wolf dropped the scroll. Nuriko opened it and read it quicky "Naruto... Kakashi-sensei is coming. We are going after the Akatsuki" she said her voice trembling. Naruto walked over to her "Nuriko, you promised me, you would do your best." he ssaid slowly. Nuriko looked at him, her eyes harsh "Naruto. They are the ones that set my village on fire. But Deidara.... he helped me escape the fire. BEfore.. before he joined the Akatsuki. And, he helped my older brother get out of thge Mist viallge." nUriko gave the scroll to Naruto "If I have to hurt Deidara, Ill run. Got it?" she said "I wouldn't be here, standing in front of you if it wasn't for him." she said and spun around and attacked the logs. With her fists. She finally sat down and crossed her arms.
