Our minds are our greatest weapons, our greatest judges, and our greatest burdens.
Our minds are our greatest weapons because we can create war strategies, schematics for new weapons, and speech outlines to use in debates. The human mind is a weapon due to all of the creativity it can come up with for the use of warfare. It is a weapon due to the calculations that it can do to estimate what can happen in a certain situation, giving a person an edge in the situation.
Our minds are our greatest judges because it determines what we like and dislike. It is are our greatest judge because it determines what we think is right and wrong in the terms of actions. Our mind determines our morales, what we believe in spiritually, and how we can read people if possible. Our mind is our judge because through life experience, it can detect bullshit and warn us of it.
Our minds are our greatest burdens because of over-analyzation. We humans always think there is a hidden agenda to everything in a society where everyone is out for himself, and there are only a few that truly care for others. Our minds are our greatest burdens because we attempt to live up to our own personal standards of excellence, even though deep down we know we cannot live up to them and know about human error. Our minds can control us to an extent that we are not humans, so that we just see life as a display of data, being in the right place at the right time, and knowing people. Although this may be true in some cases, it is not true in the majority.
Life is a journey that many people take completely differently on all aspects. I may enter the forest to come out unscathed, while other come out badly bruised or even dead.
Life means something completely different to each person. Some may have the need to start a family. Others want to leave their mark in history. Some may want to help others out of the goodness of their hearts. Others want to help mankind as a whole become better.
It's your life. Don't let anyone dictate what it should mean to you, no one at all. Not even your parents. Only God can tell you what to do with your life.
