• Blossoms blowing gracefully in the crisp fall air
The smell of cherry blossoms fill the air
Lush green grass peacefully sways with the breeze

As I walk down the path I realize it will be my last
I feel a sudden chill go down my spine as I leave my past
Trees looming overhead as I move forward to a new beginning

I wish I could stay and visit once more
but I know it will be impossible for now
Maybe another time I’ll come back around

As blossoms gracefully ride the breeze
    slowly and peacefully landing
I walk a little further and see where I shall soon depart

Closing my eyes I prepare for my departure
I become one with the earth
    As I was once before

I have a sudden feeling of reassurance
    For what is to come
A lifetime of peace and tranquility for what this shall become

I hope for the best and all becomes still
I feel light as a feather floating in mid air
I hope to be the one to care

I’ll watch over my children as they become part of me
Returning to where it all began
In this peacefully crisp fall air
