My heart is wandering around aimlessly searching for purpose.
Your heart found love in me, until you peeked underneath the surface.
Infested with drug and disease, depression brews in my soul.
You released me from your hook like a crappy on a fishing pole.
You set me free in a sea of delusion,
Every corner I turn I’m overwhelmed in confusion.
Searching for light, in a never ending sea of murky water,
Trying to survive a silent slaughter.
Someday this sea will be rescued from pollution and filth,
Until that day, My head will slant downward at tilt.

- Title: The Aimless Search
- Artist: mcsugafree
- Description: The Aimless Search is a poem that I wrote during a tough time....I once heard someone say "Let the emotions flood like a river onto the page"...and that is exactly what I did here. I would love to see what you all think.
