Life is like a novel,
Each page presents a new story,
And the pages add up until they are chapters,
Filled with woe and life,
But with each page we draw closer to the end,
As the last page draws near, we desperately try to flip back,
Only to notice we are stuck fast on our path to the end.
When we finally reach the last page aged and yellowed,
We realise the waste we have caused ourselves,
Though the page is rotted, the ink still speaks out in defiance
Showing much like the nature that is man who defiant and strong even at end.

- Btw, there is another reason I am quite proud of this poem, and usually I wouldn't brag about this but as my instructor was going through poems there was this one fella who THOUGHT he was a good rapper begging her to read his. He annoyed half the class with his bad raps and when my poem was read he shut his damn mouth for the rest of the semester saying and I quote: "Never mind mine ain't that good."
