I saw the strangest bird today,
It walked and talked in the oddest way.
Its back was black, its feet were orange,
and its call sounded like a rusty door-hinge.
Its species or name I cannot say,
as soon as I asked it it flew away.
It made me wonder if my sanity's gone astray,
that strange little bird that I saw today.

- Title: Odd bird
- Artist: Maria J Harper
- Description: I wrote this poem mostly to prove that I could. You'll see what I mean. However, it is based on a real bird that lives in a pond near my house.

- Cute poem. I like how you managed to rhyme "orange" with "hinge" biggrin
