I look around
Where I have been
For once, I can feel the ground
Beneath me, [for] I have seen
Many faces with solemn expression
Of feelings through writing
These words are my haven
Like light through those eyes shining
For a miscellany of pieces
From the soul within
A few more lines gone missing
An anecdote shall be spoken
Words only drift to the wind
Up looking for [something] lost
Inspiration cast in the mind
Wanders through darkness
Calms, yet frightens those
Less fortunate in a blackened abyss
Like dreams that suppose
I were a writer
A loving person whom
Will see that is whiter
One to gloom
Like atmosphere here
In this deep world
Comes to see a mere
Beauty in the ripped swirl
In the eyes of a saddened young woman
A little girl
Lost in the eternal fountain
The last pages beginning to curl.
