Once upon a time hungry bird spied a plant in full bloom.
Awed by the blossoms he was ignorant to his doom.
Slowly he approached, thinking of his meal,
But another life the plant would steal.
Reaching out to take a bite,
The plant's arms extended, provoking a fight.
The bird was surprised, and jumped back in fear,
But the plant had a hold on him, it would appear.
What awaits the hungry bird?
Well how absurd;
He will become the meal of the plant.
You other birds may wish to recant.
