My Love I miss you so
All I feel is pain and Woe
The Softness of your skin
The lushness of your lips
I cannot bare it
From my eyes water drips
I grasp you cold hand tight
Wishing it was all a dream
I must now face the truth
Never again will your eyes gleam
As I gaze one last time
Into your lifeless eyes
I realize what time it is,
Its time for last Good-byes
I used to hold you gently
Like a young turtle-dove
Now its time for you to fly away,
You will always be my love.

- I don't really know how to critique poetry, but I love how the last three lines! ^-^ (on line 5, it should be 'bear' instead of 'bare'). There's a lot of raw emotion here, which means if you keep working on polishing your skills, you could be a great poet! biggrin I think that reading a lot (books & poetry) helps people improve their writing.
