Amongst the stars and onto the moon.
You see what’s keeping you in this place.
The place that makes all fear and pain o-so clear.
The one thing that you know you can’t get rid of.
The thing that warms the world and keeps all humans alive.
The thing is the sun.
You hate the sun it’s what makes you who you are, Alone and Bitter.
Alone and Bitter forever through the days.
Alone and Bitter through the nights.
Alone and Bitter for all eternity.
Alone never known.
Bitter and never forgiven.
Forgotten and never wanted.
Despised and loved.
All through the days you wait for someone to notice that you are there, there for them.
That you won’t ever leave their side, but they never turn to you.
When the time comes for the sun to go away you go to the place where you feel safe.
Safe from the sun, safe so no-one can see you cry.
You cry only because you’re Alone and Bitter.
DO you know what you truly are???
You’re a shadow amongst their feet that everyone steps on at your plead.
They have no interest in you they feel no sorrow.
They feel no pity.
All they seek is to be more known than you will ever be.
You grow even more each hour that past until the sun finally goes away you disappear and into the one place that will always know you will remain.
Amongst the stars and onto the moon.
You see what’s keeping you in this place the place that makes all fear and pain o-so clear. The sun.
The one thing that you hold dear.
In your heart you fear.
In your mind you hate.
In your soul you love because it kept you here so you can see what this world has turned out to be.

Description:
I don't know how to explain it, but I think it can explain itself if you try to understand it.
I know it isn't fantastic. But again I like it.
I wrote this when I was mad at my friend for being a moron. - Date: 07/13/2010

- I like this poem its sweet. I love the way you use the shadow, however, I am not quite sure how you could -um- write this poem about how your friend was being a "moron". That last part just makes me laugh. ^.^
