I Remember when it was just us two.
Now it's only me, sitting alone with this depressing feeling that's so brand new.
Wish you were still here.
The feeling of not being with you is the only thing that i should fear.
This feeling in my chest is so tight.
You were the sun in my world, and without you, there's no light.
Now your so awkward to talk to.
You walk past me and act like you don't know who. . . I am.
The stars twinkle off the wet grass.
And i lay there remembering times past.
The feelings i had were no lie.
Remembering you makes me cry.
I sit below this night sky, staring up at the moon that's so high.
Expecting you to come out, so we can laugh and find things to talk about.
This thought just makes me lonely, for the past has taught me.
I'm still waiting, watching the sky at night that's pale blue.
For you to come, because you can't be lonely with just us two.
You put your hand inside mine.
With this i felt our destinies were intertwined.
But that time has past me, and you have drawn a line so clearly.
The air welcomes me with a calm breeze.
I watch the wind make falling leaves dance, and whistles through the trees.
Why aren't you here watching this with me?
All these things i want you to hear, all these things i want you to see.
I'd like you to lay beside me, you make a simple puddle look like the cajun sea.
You make my heart skip two beats, you make me toss and turn in my sheets.
If i could only talk to you in my dreams, i'd never wake up by no means.
Still sitting here, it's so late. So lonely, in your hands is my fate.
As the moon shines down upon me, i doze off into a late sleep.
I wake up and the moon has vanished, i'm still here, no matter how outlandish.
I lean up, i feel so alone. that place without you is not home.
The light passes through the trees, I choke back tears and try to hide it.
Hugging my knees, i sit alone in quiet.
A voice breaks through the silence.
I see a figure that gives me guidance.
She sits beside me and the lonliness fades.
I sit with her and pass the days.
Under this sky that we lay, i know that everything will be okay. . .Because. . .
I'm not alone, and i feel fine.
It feels as if she made my world shine, so bright i almost go blind.
I wish this momment would never end, i've finally found a good freind.
Someone to help my heart mend, and who makes me feel this joy will not end.
I find repose in her smile, and to see her laugh i'd walk ten thousand miles.
We lay together under this glistening night sky.
And i lose the loneliness i once had, and interlock her fingers in mine.

Description:
Song inspired by OwlCity: Vanilla twilight.
I wrote my own lyrics, but they were heavily influenced by that song because i constantly listened to it while typing this.
It's mean to be a song, but it goes off a bit on some (this is only my second short song, so i'm a noob in making them)
Anyway, listen to Vanilla Twilight by Owl City, then read this. (It'll be better for those who don't know the beat) - Date: 05/13/2010
