• Description: Memento mori is a Latin phrase translated as "Remember you are mortal". This phrase, which appears in a PS2 game--Persona 3, inspires me to create this poetry, which I first scribbled the draft on my exercise book. This poetry generally means to live your own life as it is. It serves as a constant reminder for me to not to get too stressed up when I encounter some obstacles in life.

Live life as it is
Life is just a mere game
Everything will come to an end
You are just a player
Who will cease to exist overtime
And that means game over

Live life as it is
Like playing a game
Winning and losing
Are parts and parcels of life
Do not think too much
Play your own character
Till the very end

Live life as it is
When death approaches
Everything will come to an end
If you must attain some goals
Or leave your name behind
For generations to remember
Carpe diem memento mori
(Seize the day, for remember you are mortal)

Memento mori literally translates to "remember you will die," but "remember you are mortal" is similar. Nice poem.
