• The years passed on by
    and guns were replaced by cameras
    and instead of shooting others
    we were eager to shoot each other

    not a single stone unturned
    as the world sought to know all
    its wars they did persist
    the people broke down walls

    and soon the world was naked
    its shame to one and all
    as the horrors of its choices
    were the bane of its figureheads

    So being the humans that we are
    inquisitive but maddening to understand
    we still would shoot each other
    until we all died on the inside
