My scarf is twirling and flying
Along with the snowflakes swirling
Their own uniqueness
They sparkle like sequins
Beneath kaleidoscope of the Northern Lights
And they outshine my own highlights
I’ve grown numb in the ice
As snow sprinkles like wedding rice
Onto the gray pavement leading me to warm Christmas trees
Where they sway and dance in the caroling breeze
Alone just as I stand
I clearly comprehend
I’m like a small bird among giraffes
Surrounded by ten hundred powder seraphs
While in the distance I hear an audible chapel bell
Right now though it’s too early to tell
Will I find what I want under my Christmas tree?
Wrapped in ribbons and snowmen paper
But right now it’s too early to see
If he’ll ever propose the favor
Enchanted by the crescent moon
Broken from her lunar cocoon
In this fine eve
I take my leave
For I’m so full of doubt
In this winter where about
Losing my tracks that interfered the snow
But now it’s too late to know
I hop aboard this train departing New York City
My hope makes its way towards a distant harbor
Will I find what I want under my Christmas tree?
Wrapped in ribbons and snowmen paper
But right now it’s too early to see
If he’ll ever propose the favor
So I continue to dream that he’ll be
A little more than a neighbor
So all I’ll ever do
Is sing
Into crystal blue
About a diamond ring

- Very beautiful work. If this was based off of fact, I sincerely hope and pray you get the proposal you so truly wish for. Good luck, and peace be with you.
