However the cold that bites my nose
this pain shall never cease
whatever the cold that holds my toes
no thaw, no fire's grease.
I lay here in the open
craving love I'll never get
so as I lay a hopin' (hope)
snow freezes bit by bit.
My whole body's numb now
no feeling anywhere
everything is numb now
icicles in my hair
there's no one there, there's no one there!
It's vacant, deathly quiet.
The only sounds my breathin
heart is slowing, fingers by it
The sky's a deep deep blue,
almost unrealistically so.
The trees a green so solomn
for it's drowning under snow.
I lay utop a blanket that is
whiter so than cotton.
I stare at clouds while frozen tears
sting, I am forgotton.
The pain is overwhelming
yet there's nothing there to feel
my visions fading slowly
it is spinning like a wheel
there is a lack of air now
for a breath is hard to take
there is a lack of warmth now
as I fight to stay awake.
No holiday joy surrounds me
as I pray before my death
"goodbye my last winter" I whisper
as I releive my final, frozen breath

Description:
Got bored during thanksgiving.
It's bassically about a person who is slowly freezing to death.
My favorite stanza is:
"There's no one there, there's no one there!
It's vacant, deathly quiet.
The only sound's my breathing,
heart is slowing, fingers by it."
My second fav:
"there is a lack of warmth now
for a breath is hard to take.
There is a lack of warmth now
as I fight to stay awake."

- That is really deep. That is so true for homeless people. They have no family, no warm place, and not enough people are kind to them
