    Is always seen,
    But how much does it take,

    I'm like a cactus,
    Thorny and sharp,
    But do you know,
    What's inside my heart?
    I'm sharp and painful,
    Unlike a feather,
    But I provide animals
    food, water, and shelter.
    You see me there and pass me by,
    Do you know it makes me want to cry?
    You curse at me and know it hurts,
    But you don't care,
    You'll step on me like dirt.
    I have great will power,
    I haver great potential,
    But it has no use,
    Unless you'll be gentle.
