In an evening of endless darkness,
A journey once forgotten begins.
A path wrought with carelessness,
And an end that never wins.
The shadows push further in,
Dragging down their prey.
Leading a life of joyous sin,
In a grave below to lay.
A walk down an endless road,
Never again to be seen.
Showing all your burdensome load,
But what is the mean?
Is the end really forever,
With the present far behind?
Can no one be clever,
Or have a brilliant mind?
Forever we are destined,
To weep in pity and sorrow.
The pain is not lessened,
With the promise of tomorrow.
Better days shall never come,
Leaving all those behind.
Everyone, with an eternal shun,
All revenge is in kind.

Description:
Alone in a dark alley, you look around and see nothing. What? A noise to your left and you whip around. Your heart beat quickens. You awake, in your bed, the darkness near around you. Glancing out the window, you notice a new moon. You then realize you dreamt of your life...

Sometimes I think
not a wink
is spent sleeping
when poets
like rowboats
flow down side the river
of emotion as I sit and shiver
in this dark room
of interwebs. - Report As Spam
