for now I'm lost in shadow
and this thing in my chest
is void of emotion

This blow you dealt me
this thing that stuns
has shattered my heart
and yet the pain hasn't come

Last week we were laughing
and today I noticed you'd gone
without word or reason
you with drew the hand of friendship
