    you fall in love with someone
    but they aren’t always the one
    you do what you can to please them
    while slowly losing yourself
    by the time you realize it
    its often too late to go back
    and correct your mistake...
    your heart is still broken
    your world undone
    when you finally get back on your feet
    you fall in love again
    this time you try to protect yourself
    they don’t know you love them
    and maybe its better that way
    but there are times when you wish they knew
    times when you could really use a hug
    someone to listen to you
    someone more than a friend
    and then the bandages that hold your wound
    just fall apart again
