I sit here wondering how it came to be,
My life without you no one but me.

I always thought you'd be by my side,
With you in my life I didn't have to hide.

Somewhere along our journey I lost my way,
And now I understand why you chose not to stay.

Now I wonder what tomorrow holds,
Looking to the journey and how it unfolds.

From this point forward I live only for me,
Never forgetting how it came to be...

I like it smile Simple, great rhyming - not too forced like many poems these days (i think i do that when i rhyme mine, but nobody's pointed it out, so maybe not....) Anyways, back to YOU biggrin
