Locked in the bellows of a gothic tower,
Enchained in fetters of ferverous desire,
I sauntered from this Midnightmare-Sepulchre
Only to find my Hate fades like water nigh a fire.
This evening raptured, With a seranadic Minuetto.
With darkness imbued in her corset,
She endured to lull me away, From the cadaverous masquerade,
As her eyes glittered like a sapphires facets,
I espied the enchantress from a harsh seranade,
And held her by her waist, Her soft silhouette.
By dawn a Gelid mist bedewed the midst of my mind.
I, with clouded eyes sought the nectar within our stir.
But these blue skies mean only rain to me,
For that never would I remember,
Any bliss that would occur.
The burning sun, Neath whose rays we used to drifrt away,
Was smoldering the passion I held,
And with pain, searing away the visage that held sway.
Those glassy wave and starry nights,
Brought Seraphims Lullaby,
As though my heart had taken flight,
As though.....This was our last "Goodbye".

- Well done. An expansive vocabulary is something most writers strive for, but are most often seen as utilizing it in a way that comes across nauseous or snobbish. Especially from us young uns! The only criticism I can offer is that some of the lines don't keep that same flavor as all the others do, because the majority of the lines have amazing word choice and it flows really well, but then 2 or 3 of the lines are weaker and come off... clunky. I love it, though!
