    Over the years I’ve seen hordes of Mps
    Promise to serve their constituencies
    To help their people stand up and fight
    For the good of Britain, what is morally right

    This year it seems, the parties’ main aims
    Are to cover up their expenses claims
    As the telegraph has lifted the lid
    On what for years the MPs have hid

    That they are claiming expenses for toilet seats
    While everything’s worse for the man on the streets
    That they are spending our money on pruning their trees
    While the British economy falls to its knees

    That all the MPs have been having a ball
    Flipping their houses.. and that’s not all
    Claiming for carpets and chandeliers
    And interest on mortgages paid off 5 years
    Ago.

    And just when we thought it couldn’t get worse
    They pay for porno out of the public purse.
    Can you believe it! These are the folk
    That make our legislation. What a joke!

    So. When it comes to me placing my vote
    I’ll remember how much I paid for that mote
    How much I paid for that house by the sea
    When it comes to me choosing an MP

    They lost our trust when they broke the law
    And made a mockery of what they stand for
    So I suggest they get their expenses forms packed
    Because if it were up to me they’d get bloody sacked.
