A flying, vicious monster,
Throws itself at me,
Screaming,
"Do this, do that!"
I realize,
It's not a monster,
It's only you.
Tell me no command,
Favors I will do no more.
Because you aren't me,
But, surprise surprise!
I am.
Do not try to control me,
With mere words,
Weak lassos and burrs.
I'm the wildest stallion in the west,
Untameable, untouchable.
Stop trying to reign me in,
Because this is my life,
Not yours.
