I sit upon the mountain
Looking out below
Not sure of where I've gone
Or where I am to go
The storm clouds drift near
But I can't seem to care
It doesn't matter to me
That they happened to be there
I feel the first preluding drops
To the coming rain
Like the feelings that you get
That prelude the pain
The dirt below me turns to mud
As I sit here on the ground
I think of all I've seen
And I think of all I've found
I sit here on the mountain
I still can't seem to care
That tears run down my face
And water through my hair

- Description: I can't really tell if my mood when I wrote this was depressed or apathetic or a little of both but I still like it now even though I wrote it a long time ago.

- This is very nice. It sems to convey some sort of soul searching type feelings/qualities but I like it purely for the flow of the poem...there were a few lines which seemed a bit awkward but otherwise I think it's a pretty piece.
