Why do you even try?

Your lies surround me,
But the pain dies because
you words sting at my eyes
Not my heart.

You make my smiles disappear
And my laughter is lost.

No matter how hard you try,
You will not see me cry.
Your anger confuses me,
I cant see why you hate me.
You will not hurt me.
I will stay strong,
even when everything goes wrong.

You get mad at try to make me sad.
Your trys are in vain
For you wont see me in pain.

I guarantee this is not a lie.

Try as you might,
You still will not hurt me.
