I try to hide my feelings
To lock them all away
But it seems that when I'm with you
They decide to all come free

You may think this is a love poem
But trust me, truley It's not
It's more about a friendship
That I'm really glad I've got

As I'm sitting here and thinking
Of the friendship that we've made
I also start to wonder
If it will ever fade

Your the only one that listens
And for you my heart would bend
I would do anything you asked me to
I'd laugh or cry or mend

So please as you read this
Make one promise to me
No matter how heavy this friendship gets
You'll never let me fall free

Ya know what vonnsilva, most people would sit here and chew you out and start calling you names, but I'm going to big the bigger person and not say what I'm thinking. What I am going to say is just because you don't like my poems, doesn't mean I'm not going to stop writing them.

Go ahead, try to hide your feelings and I'll try to hide mine...of wanting to punch you for writing such a terrible poem. Rhyming "not" with "got" doesn't make you clever, it just makes you a wannabe Dr. Seuss. No advice I can give would make this piece any better, except maybe to stop writing.
