The ashes that divide us
Burrow in my skin
Come along, your innocence
Has finally come to an end
My soul disguised in camouflage
My spirit doused in gasoline
I meant what I said,
And I say what I mean
I savor every kiss
You have placed upon my cheek
I never said I was a saint
The grave you’ve dug grows oh, so deep
If you love him let him go
In the end, we all will know
You try to say you do not care
But he would die if you weren’t there
So please ignore his petty cries
And overlook his mindless lies
A love so strong it cannot break
A sin so vein, you cannot take
My hate, it tries to stare
But you cannot look at what’s not there
We will never die alone
This love has lost mortality
Dying together, you in my arms
Spawns the skin of fertility
So let the hatred pester out
Let our souls stand proud and stout
So cold, so dark
No fire, no spark.
I stand away
You follow me
I try to run again
You swallow me.
The pace
Your face
No trace
But, in case…
I savor every kiss
You have placed upon my cheek
I never said I was a saint
The grave you’ve dug grows oh, so deep
If you love him let him go
In the end, we all will know
You try to say you do not care
But he would die if you weren’t there
So please ignore his petty cries
And overlook his mindless lies
A love so strong it cannot break
A sin so vein, you cannot take
My hate, it tries to stare
But you cannot look at what’s not there
Living lies and scratching on
You wonder were it’s coming from.
You live today
So only soon
You can stare up at a blackened moon.
Dead ambition but so intrigued.
Predators racing to the feed.
This is for the times indeed.
So fog your mind and ignore the need.
My love for you seems so unfair
Fortunately, you cannot see what is not there.
