The Sparrow's True Home
Faithful sparrow in the sky
As you sore above the trees
Why don't you just stay up high
Floating freely on the breeze
Sometimes I wish to join the sparrow
As she leaves the world behind
Out of reach of man's mortal arrow
Seeing what mysteries she can find
Weeping willow by the stream
Now I know just why you cry
You can look up but only dream
Of the freedom in the sky
To city lights the sparrow may roam
But the willow will always be her true home

This is wonderful. I wrote a poem like this but my bird was different.
Keep up the good work. -jadeyn - Report As Spam
