V-Day poem

When you see the
Setting crimson sky
Do you still remember
Our cherished time
That we shared together
Our promised words of love?
Because I can never
Forget my one dear sweet
What it is that you’ve done
For me and how easy
It is now to breathe
When that burden’s
No longer plaguing me.
As I live with you in
My heart and life
I still stare at
Your remarked kind
Heart of gold
A heart sweeter than
Those ever foretold
Only outshone by
Your ever shining
Angelic face that soothes
My soul with a
Pure White lace
To keep it wrapped tightly
And keep it your’s, forever safe.
So as our day becomes
Our night I leave my tale
I leave tonight, waiting for the
Dawn of light to bring
Us closer in this life.

I actually think this poem is rather short. A bit bland and mediocre.
