• Our father who art in heaven
    Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation
    But deliver us from evil

I lick the back of the neck of this innocent trembling child
I taste the sweat that lays stagnant upon her quivering body
I smell the acrid pungent fear baking out of her pores
I whisper in her ear “do not fear, for god is here”

    Defile
    Exile
    Reconcile
    Repeat

God forgives all trespasses no matter the size
My lord forgives me for all those children’s cries
I am only a man consumed by the deeds of flesh
As long as I ask forgiveness I am blessed

    Defile
    Exile
    Reconcile
    Repeat

I maybe sick, disturbed, or worse
But this matters not for I coerce
The world to erase my crimes from its memory
And I do it with little pieces of paper covered in green ink

    Defile
    Exile
    Reconcile
    Repeat

    Keep watch dear lord
For those who work or watch or weep this night
And give your angels charge over those who sleep
    Tend the sick lord christ
    Give rest to the weary
    Bless the dying
    Sooth the suffering
    Pity the afflicted
    Shield me dear lord
    Shield me from justice
