As I pace the Street
Walk by the Stare
My step makes a Beat
And I jump up there

I dance to my own song
Sing to my own dream
All for which I long
All for which I seem

I stop by every name
I turn by every place
All seem the same
All the same face

I wonder where I am
I realize where I could be
I am on my own now
My eyes can now see

I turn around
Pace back
Listen to the Sounds
But everything turns black

I remember my life before
How it was then
How horrible I had lived
There's no going back

Time can't be traced again

I realize my problem
The hurt I've caused myself

I go back
And I play again.
