• Oh, look at that lovely Ladybug,
Laying on that green leaf, so sweet,
Oh, that red and black, I wish I could hug,
But our differences mean we cannot meet.

I am a Praying mantis, so simple,
Feeling my heart beat so strong and loud,
In my love with her, I feel so nimble,
My spirit souring as high as a cloud.

    We shall never be together,
For Mother Nature will not allow it,
We will never have one another,
The pain won’t go down, not even a bit.

It kills me that she’ll never be mine,
But knowing she’s happy, I’ll be just fine.
