The smell of roses,
As you take my hand,
And lead me into oblivion;
To those Incubus dreams,
Of passion nights,
And kisses from paradise;
But you led me away,
From all those things you were supposed to say,
You were to tell me:
Of visions of reality,
Illusions of dazzling beauty,
Heaven and humanity,
Of the sky,
And its colored hues,
Of the roses,
And their elusive blues;
But you led me away,
From all those things you were to say,
You took my hand,
And led me back to,
Our closeness with oblivion;
Back to,
Those dreadful Incubus dreams,
Of warm passion nights,
And those sweet kisses from paraidse;
Maybe one day,
You'll see my swelling pain,
And finally give in,
Keep your promises and,
Tell me those things,
That you were to tell me so long ago;
Visions of reality,
Illusions of shocking beauty,
Peaceful heaven and vengeful humanity,
The sky and,
Its burning colored hues,
The roses,
And their lovely but elusive blues;
