School
School is filled with the work I hate.
Sometimes I'm late.
The classes are 40 minutes long,
I think that's just wrong,
Meanwhile freaks go around singing happy songs.
So many tests
Make me wonder when we get to rest.
I wish I could just stay home all day instead,
That way I could just hang out and lay in bed.
In class I try not to fall asleep.
The school I go to isn't cheap.
Some people there are just plain beeps,
Others are freaks.
Those are the ones I wanna slap across their cheeks.
On rare occasions school is fun,
But only after all the work is done.

- True, yes......but you're forgeting about lunch! Cafeteria food????? I consider it a win if I make it through that.....I'd rather go to all day math than eat a couple of servings of today's "special", but that's just me. It's a good poem though....very rhymful smile
