• I see a puzzle over there
    waiting to be done
    I think I'll try to finish it
    the day has just begun
    Peice by twisting puzzle peice
    the hours drift away
    there seems to be a smiling face
    looking that-a-way
    there standing next to the smiling girl
    a puppy jumping up
    she holds a rifle in her hands
    there must be something up
    the dog is barking at the boy
    a handsome one at that
    I cannot see his face just yet
    its covered by my cat
    brush away the large furball
    annoying little critter
    to see the young boys face
    and send my heart a-twitter
    I look and see oh not his head
    but a giant gaping place
    I realize I'm not finished yet
    I'm missing a puzzle peice!
    the most important peice
    oh how could i lose it
    search around and find the thing
    the cat must have hid it
    giving up, I make believe
    the faceless mans face
    looking down I see and smile
    you're standing in his place
    and slowly then i realize
    oh how could i forget
    that you're my missing puzzle peice
    my life, my heart, the end
