• Innocent

    Dark and cool,
    A breeze waves goodbye,
    Through the curtains.
    A twinkle of a star,
    Outside the window.
    Drift off to sleep,
    And fly away,
    Into the summer night air.
    And dream.

    Release

    Dreaming of a world,
    One where pain,
    And misery,
    Have no name.
    Where there is only,
    Air and wind,
    Sea and current.
    Being light as a feather,
    And carried on the wing,
    Of the eagle of hope.
    To fly away,
    To a wondrous world,
    And wish to thyself,
    To never return.

    Freedom

    Rolling hills and
    Luscious valleys,
    Sparkling lakes and
    Clear green seas,
    Emerald green grass and
    Sapphire skies,
    Passing underneath.
    Soaring high,
    Out of reach,
    On the comforting wing
    Of a dream.
