Twirling around
changing into another
completely
a splash of black clothing
vivid makeup
and the change is complete
A new look
A new personality
entering the ballroom
you recognize all
behind the masks,
the makeup,
but none can
recognize you
Going home
you take off the costume
straight to bed
Waking up
you go to a mirror
you are no longer yourself
red eyes
black hair
pale skin
razor-sharp teeth
a new kind of
thirst.

- Cool! It sounds like a story more than a poem. Is there more? biggrin
