Sometimes the scariest of things are not those that lie hidden among us
But those that stand boldly in the warm sunlit air for the world to see
An imperfect world we live in
Would it really be better if it was arranged perfectly
Where you are, you did not just get there because you wanted to
You made mistakes
Would the inevitable fate
That awaits us all
Creep up on you while you watched someone fall
And you kicked them while they were down
And when you turned around
You realized it was too late
Your heart wishes for one more minute, a mere second
To shout your apologies
But it’s too late, it came too fast
Look at the world you see
Your last words would be
“I’m sorry,”
To me

- Title: I scared me
- Artist: Chayce West
- Description: I wrote it out of boredom...O___o it's not really meant to be dark, but i guess people could look at it that way. It's more satirical in my opinion. It's in the theme of Halloween :D
