Today wasn't so cheery
School was dreary
My mind is blank
My body is weary
The sky seemed dark
Each homework was marked
Zeros had covered mine
Getting an F was Never Fine
My Head was kept down
The sun never did shine
Oh the Monday Mood
School is over
Finally, I can sigh
With all those exusing lies
And those sleepy good-byes
