As I sat in class and read my book,
I heard an outrage that people mistook,
As a simple quarrel between some friends.
I looked up only to see,
A group of people,
The victim and the bully.
Her friends were sneering,
And in that moment I was glaring,
Because the victim was my friend.
Deeply enraged I stood up,
And stood in between them,
Then I asked them "Wassup?"
My voice was low and my words were casual,
But everything else was threatening,
So there I stood, something of a fool.
I looked them all in the eye and told them,
"Please, leave her alone."
They merely pushed me away.
And thus,
My efforts was,
Completely futile.
So now, older and wiser,
That memory of mine haunts me,
Now and forever.
That is why,
When I see power abused,
Intervention is where I lie,
In these times of abuse.
No one I know cares to help,
Not even my friends, because,
No one cares to be under fire,
But thats where I tire.
I refuse to stand down so now,
I win the stand-off on her behalf.
I win injustice,
With my strength I triumph!

- Description: This is sort of my complaint, how people never care to help other people since they're scared of being on radar. Please give me constructive criticism if you comment. And it is based off one of my experiences.
